Great Odin’s Raven! A Will Ferrell Themed Bar Is Opening

 —  By

By the beard of Zeus, could this be true?

YES! Revellers can now go to a place where they can join Ron Burgundy in immediately regretting their decisions, as a new bar named ‘Stay Classy, New York‘ will be opening. The bad news? Uh, as the name suggests, it’s in New York. The good news? New York’s a lovely place to visit.

Fans and business partners, Zach Neil and Brian Link are due to open the Will Ferrell themed watering hole on the 25th October, encouraging people in need of a good scotchy scotch scotch to come and relax in luxury surroundings fit for the Channel 4 News Team.

A Will Ferrell themed bar, you say? Let's get to NY, PRONTO.

Whether you’re into playing jazz flute on tables or going streaking, the bar is sure to accommodate for all forms of Will-themed nostalgia. With toilets labelled F-shack 1 and F-shack 2 in reference to The Other Guys, and a whole Will-themed art gallery that the owners commissioned specially for the bar, no quote, reference or in-joke has been left unturnedI wonder if there’ll be a dog like Baxter there too?

…but alcohol isn’t! For $12 you can order a Mugatu Mule or Glass Case of Emotion. Just try not to get stuck in it. You can even get a Smelly Pirate Hooker.

A Will Ferrell themed bar? We are completely behind that. And the alcohol list is EPIC.

Zach explained that:

“This bar is kind of like the place where a 35-or 40-year-old person could come and sit and not be intimidated by loud techno music but still be surrounded by things that are funny and ridiculous and kinda get it. That’s what Will Ferrell has always meant to us.”

Ahh us too, Zach. We love funny things. And we also love drink. We also hope that people under the age of 35 are allowed in as we don’t particularly fancy sitting on the kerb rapping Boats N’ Hoes to ourselves.

We expect that everybody visiting the bar when it’s open to the public will be doing everything but staying classy. This definitely puts all of our London bars to shame…
